I went to the beach today. Yes, they have a beach in Chicago. Well, kinda. It's uber small, the sand is more like dirt and there are no tides. So it's more like an over-sized sand box with a nearby swimming pool. But for my own personal amusement I'm still going to call it a beach. Anywho! I laid out for a few hours and now I look like a lobster. So please, for everyone trying to soak up some UV rays, PLEASE remember to wear sunscreen or you could end up looking like this guy:

Yes, that's right, this is my one hundredth post. BOOYAH.
 And guess what else, school's out...da da da..for summerrr!
And what's a better way to celebrate all this than to move to Chicago for the summer?! I don't know if you understood that correctly but since Friday at 8pm Central Time I've been in the wonderful, Chicago, Illinois and I will be here for approximately three months, THREE MONTHS PEOPLE. I guess you could say I'm excited.....

My daddy called me today to tell me that Kitty Purry has been missing for about a month now...I've never cried so much in my life, and that's saying something.
Just take a look at this freaking adorable kitten and you'll know why I'm so distraught.

I loved that Kitty more than anything in this world and then I went off to college and now he's gone. I'm tearing up even thinking about it.
I want him to come home.
In the midst of my roommate, J, trying to make me calm down and telling me that cats always come back home, she told me that I am "the prettiest crier ever; it's unreal." I'm not sure if that's exactly true but I guess that's still a plus?

Saturday night S and I got asked on a date (that's the first) to go to F1 Raceway with some of our really good guy friendles. We haven't had that much fun in a looongg time and I'm glad we went.

dirty little pores

I don't know about anybody else out there but my nose pores are out of control. So I decided to make my own pore strips YAY.
I found an easy recipe online that uses this:

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 tablespoons of milk

You mix the two together pretty quickly then throw the little bowl in microwave for 10-15 seconds. Once you pull it out you need to apply immediately! I just used the spoon that I mixed it with to apply but you could just a popsicle stick or an old makeup brush if ya wanna get fancy.
It's a little runny and smells like wet dog but just power through it! Once it's on yo face just wait like 10-15 minutes.

Your face will get uber stiff so if you're hungry or want to smile you're outta luck. Once the fifteen minutes are over grab a piece and just pull!

It's super nast and hurts like a mofo, I know, but totally worth it for a baby bottom smooth face. I'm definitely going to be doing this from now on.
